How to: Request New App for Aruvo TV

This article details the steps to request a new app for Aruvo TV if the app is not already available.
Note: This article is applicable when using Aruvo on Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, and/or Apple TV devices. Roku TV and Roku Streaming Player do not support launching an app from another app.

🕐 When to Use This Guide
- You're trying to add an app for Aruvo, but not able to find the app as an available option.
- You'd like to submit a request to add an app to Aruvo TV.
✅ Before You Begin
- Ensure that your smart TV(s) and/or streaming device(s) are compatible with Aruvo TV. For a complete list of compatible devices, see Compatible TV Models: Aruvo TV.
- Please make sure that you have the Aruvo portal account set up: How To: Create your Aruvo TV account.
⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup
1. Open the web portal to Aruvo TV
If you have not created your Aruvo account yet, follow the steps to get started at How To: Create your Aruvo TV account.
2. Navigate to the "Apps" tab
- Select the "TV" option from the main menu on the left side.
- Select the "Apps" tab from within the "TV menu.
3. Select smart TV platform
Click to select the smart TV operating system you're using to enable the required options.
Note: Roku OS does not support launching an app from within another app, so the "Apps" and "Live TV" options are not available on Roku devices. For more information, see Aruvo TV Software: Smart TV Platform Comparison.
4. Click to Request a New App
Follow the steps at How To: Select Apps for Aruvo TV to search for and add the desired app. If the desired app is not available in the list, click the "Request App Here" button to submit a request to add it.
5: Submit Request for New App
- Click the button to browse the app lists for the desired Google, Apple, or Amazon app.
- After locating the desired app in the corresponding site, copy and paste its URL in the "Enter The App URL" field.
- Click "Save" to send your app request to Aruvo Support.
