Is the organization ID secure to share?

Yes. It's used only for communication between our systems to sync guest reservations and unit details. Aruvo will not have access to any sensitive billing or financial data.

An Organization ID might appear valid but fail if: It has been revoked from your Direct account.
π‘How quickly should I complete the integration after getting my API Key?

Direct, Organization ID does not have a hard expiration time.

However, it's always best practice to complete the linking process as soon as you have the Organization ID.

π‘Why do I need to authorize Aruvo?
Authorization is required to allow Aruvo to sync properties and reservations from your Direct PMS account.
π‘Is it safe to connect my Direct PMS account?
Yes, the integration uses a secure Organization ID and a unique token/key generated directly from your Direct Dashboard.
π‘What happens after I click authorize?
Aruvo will begin syncing all confirmed reservations within a 60-day window.
π‘I have multiple Direct accounts. Which one should I use?
Aruvo supports multiple PMS accounts. You should authorize the account containing the properties you wish to manage within Aruvo.
π‘How do I get all the units?
Properties appear in Aruvo after the PMS integration is set up, and the sync process identifies the properties associated with your Organization ID.
π‘What if my units were already in Aruvo and then I linked Direct?
You must link the property in Aruvo to a specific Direct Listing to initiate a full stay sync.
π‘What if I duplicate units?
The documentation indicates that a stay sync is specific to a property in Aruvo being linked to a Direct property; ensure each Aruvo unit is mapped to the correct single Direct unit to avoid data issues.
π‘Should I delete the units and then read from Direct?
No, please link existing properties rather than deleting them to start the sync.
π‘How quickly will a stay sync?
- New Stays: Syncs run every hour for check-ins within -1 to 3 days, every 5 hours for 3-7 days, and daily for up to 60 days.
- Updates: Modifications (Date/time/guest info/cancellations) sync once an hour from 9 AM to 5 PM PST, and every 2 hours after 5 PM PST.
π‘What are my options once I finish this?
Once finished, you can monitor guest syncs (including phone and email), manage owner stays, and track access code delivery.
π‘Can I revoke authorization later?
Yes, you can edit or manage the integration within the settings.
π‘Can I skip this?
Direct integration is required for Aruvo to function with this PMS; without it, stay data and access codes cannot be automated.
π‘If I have done an action, how do I remove it?
You can submit a request to Aruvo support if you need to remove specific integration components or data.
π‘What will happen if I don't do an action?
If you do not complete the integration, Aruvo will not sync confirmed reservations or guest contact info.
π‘Do I need to link the PMS again every time I log in to Aruvo?
No. Once your Direct account is successfully linked, the connection is persistent. Syncing of guest reservations and unit details will happen automatically.
You will only need to re-link if:

You manually disconnect the integration from your Aruvo dashboard.

You are automatically redirected back to Aruvo, where the integration status will display as Connected.

The Organization ID is revoked manually from your Direct account.
