✅ Before You Begin
- Ensure that your smart TV(s) and/or streaming device(s) are compatible with Aruvo TV. For a complete list of compatible devices, see Compatible TV Models: Aruvo TV
- Make sure you have an account set up with the Aruvo TV. How To: Create your Aruvo TV account
- You are logged in to the Aruvo TV Portal
⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1. Log in to the Aruvo Portal and click to select the "TV" menu.
Navigate to each section on the home screen and complete the branding for your TV. For more details, please find the help article below:

Step 2. Navigate to the Welcome tab.
Select "Preview & Personalize", then select the "Welcome" tab.
You can make changes to the following options below:
Welcome Screen settings
Expand the Welcome Screen settings, and you click on the edit icon for the Menu title to change what it should say on the actual TV.
Once you click on the Edit icon for the menu title, you can change the menu title for the Welcome message for guests from the default and add a new name for it.
Please tap on save at the top to save the changes.
If you want to disable the Welcome screen for the guest, click on the toggle Disable Welcome message on smart TV and then confirm the changes.
Welcome Screen Layout and Content
Expand the Welcome Screen Layout and Content, and select the Layout if you would like to show only text or text and video, or only video for the Welcome message for the Guest, and click on Save Layout.
Select your preferred Layout Type, then click "Select Layout" to save and close the window.
Upload a video and add customized text for the Welcome Message
Click on the option Upload video: From URL or Local File to upload a Video of your Own choice.
In this next step, click on "Upload" and then select the Video file you want to upload for the Aruvo TV. The software will generate a default thumbnail, or you can click on Add custom thumbnail to select an image file from your computer.
OR
You can add the Video URL if you do not have the video file saved on your computer.
Important note:
Adding video URL is not supported by Roku TV or Apple TV 4K. This feature will only work for Google TV and Fire TV.
Important note:
When adding a YouTube URL, the thumbnail will be generated automatically. Custom thumbnails are only available for uploaded videos.
Click on the edit icon for the Welcome text title and text body, and add a personalized message for your guests.
Menu Title
You can change the title of the Welcome Message for the Aruvo and can make it more personalized by changing the Font, text color, and using tags.
After clicking on the Edit icon, you can make the following changes:
- Text Font
- Text color
- Text size
- Background color

Tags
Important note:
Using the Tags will allow Aruvo Software to fetch the information related to the current guest's details, Property details, and other information uploaded on the Aruvo software for each Property.
Text on the Right or left of the video.
As per your layout selection, you can edit the text on the right side or the left side of the video and can add your personalized message for the Guest.
After clicking on the Edit icon, you can make the following changes:
- Text Font
- Text color
- Text size
- Background color
- Tags
Please tap on save at the top to save the changes.
Bottom Text
By editing the bottom text, you can add a personalized message for the guest at the bottom, where you can add more relevant information, like how to access the wifi and how to reach out if needed to and you can refer to some offers and services you offer during the stay.
After clicking on the Edit icon, you can make the following changes:
- Text Font
- Text color
- Text size
- Background color
- Tags
Click in the black box and add a personalized message for the guest on the Welcome Message.
Please tap on save at the top to save the changes.
