How to: Set up your Google TV before installing the Aruvo app

- Google account - You can use your personal Google account or create a dedicated account for TV use.

⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1. Navigate to Google TV Settings.
Once you see the Google TV home screen, scroll to the top right and click on the settings/gear Icon.
Step 2. Update Settings
There are a few options we need to change before installing the Aruvo TV app:
- Click on Privacy, then Google Assistant, and turn off voice control.
- Back on the main settings menu, select "System", then "About". Change the device name to the property listing name.
- In that same menu location, scroll down to "Android TV OS build" and press the center button on the remote 10 times. You should get a pop-up message saying you are now in developer mode.
- Navigate back to System settings, scroll down, and select "Developer options". Turn on the option to "Stay awake".
- Navigate back to System settings again, click on "Power and energy" and enable the "Never Automatically turn off" option.
- Go back to the main settings menu and choose "Remotes and accessories." Choose the option to "Update the Chromecast remote" if available (note that this will only apply to certain TV models or streaming device models).
