- Aruvo account - If you have not set up your account yet, follow the steps in this article to create and configure your account.
- Configure your branding and theme - If you have not completed these steps during initial account setup, follow the steps in this guide to configure your theme and branding.
⚙️ Step-by-Step instruction
How to edit unit details
Step1. Navigate to the unit section.
Open the Aruvo portal and navigate to the Unit section on the left menu, click on the Units tab
Step2. Click on the unit details.
After navigating to the unit section on the left menu, click on Unit details
Step 3. Click on the Edit Button
Go to 'Unit Details' and you will be able to see the details, and you can click on the Edit button to update unit details.
Step 4. Update the Unit details
You can edit these fields after you click on the Edit icon for the Unit:
- Unit Display Name
- Street Address
- Apt/Suite/Building (optional)
- Zip Code / Postal Code
- City, State, Country
- Timezone, Property
- Default Check-In Time/Check-Out Time

How to delete a unit
- In order to delete a unit, you can click on the delete unit button.

It would open a pop-up message; you'd need to check the confirmation box, respectively.
“Deleting this unit will also unlink any Smart TVs associated with it.” “I understand this action cannot be reversed.”
Once you click on the check box, enter the word Delete (case-sensitive) to delete that particular Unit.
Tip: When you sign up for Aruvo, the system will automatically create a "demo unit" - this is a "dummy" unit to demonstrate the features and configuration options in Aruvo before adding your actual property units. This "demo unit" can be deleted after adding your units from a PMS/booking site, and/or manually adding directly in Aruvo.
