Understanding: "Billing" Screen During Aruvo Free Trial

Every new Aruvo Smart TV account starts with a 30-day free Enterprise trial. This guide focuses on the Billing Invoices screen, which helps you prepare for future monthly charges by securing payment details and choosing who receives your bills.
🕐Why Use the Invoices Tab?
The Invoices tab is crucial for preparing your account for seamless billing after your free trial concludes. You can easily access this screen via:

The three main sections are always accessible via the fixed tabs: Payment Methods | Invoices | and Subscription.
✅ Before You Begin

Make sure you know the following before starting the billing setup:

The system won't charge you until the 30-day trial period is over.

The first charge happens the day after the trial ends (e.g., Trial ends Nov 30; Billing starts Dec 1).

You must have a valid credit or debit card ready to enter.

⚙️Step 1: Adding a Payment Method💳
During the trial, the system needs your payment information to keep your service running.
The Reminder Banner
You will see a pink notification prompting you to add a card. This simply means you're not done setting up billing yet.
- How to Enter Card Details

Click the [+ Add Payment Method] button.

A secure window powered by Stripe (our payment partner) will open.

Fill in your card number, name, CVC, and address.

Click Add Card.
Security: We use Stripe, a highly secure system, to handle all card data. Your full card number is never stored by Aruvo.
Once you save the card, the pink banner disappears.
Note: When we sign up, we also receive the first invoice for $0 since it is a trial period.
⚙️ Step 2: Managing Invoice Recipients 📧
Invoice Recipients are the people who receive copies of monthly bills and payment alerts.
Managing Your Recipient List

The Billing User (the account owner) is always on the list and cannot be removed.
- You can add multiple recipients for Invoice Recipients.

Click [+ Add Another Recipient].

Enter their Name, Email, and Phone number

Then click on the save button.
Alerts: Every person on this list will receive invoices, payment success notifications, and any warnings about failed payments or overdue accounts.
⚙️Step 3: Understanding the Invoice History 📜
The bottom of the Invoices tab displays your payment history.
During the Free Trial:
- During the free trial, you receive an invoice for 0$.
After Billing Begins
Once your trial ends and your paid plan activates, this section automatically switches to a table view. You will see every invoice, showing the Date, Plan Name, Amount, and Status (Paid/Unpaid). You can download PDFs of these invoices for up to 12 months.
