✅ Before You Begin

• Create your Aruvo account - If you have not set up your account yet, follow the steps in this guide to set up your account.
• Collect the details (pricing, description, images, etc) for services that you want to offer to guests in the Aruvo TV display.

⚙️ Guides for Managing Guest Service Offers in Aruvo TV

Managing the Services Menu Settings:

Navigate to the "TV" tab on the left-side menu, then select the "Services" tab at the top.

 

Customize the main options for the "Services" tab: 

• Display "Services" On TV Menu: Toggle to enable or disable the "Services" menu on the Aruvo TV display. Default is "On".
• Menu Title: Click the "Edit" button to change the name of the Services menu displayed on the Aruvo TV display. Note that this field is limited to 16 characters.
• Service Price Currency: Click the "Edit" button to select the currency guests will use to purchase Services offers through Aruvo TV. This will open a window where you can select the desired currency, then click "Save" to update.

 

Managing the List of Available Services

From the main "Services" menu, select the "Services List" option on the slider.

 

Scroll down to the "Manage Services" section. Here, you can click the "Edit" button to update the settings for the existing offerings, or click "Add/Select Service" to add a new service to the list.

Note: Default Services can be disabled so they won't show on your Aruvo configuration. However, they cannot be deleted entirely.

The "Edit" button will open the "Manage Services" window, which provides the following options:

1. Re-order Services: Use the drag handles to drag each service offer up or down to select the order you want.
2. Update Image: Click the "Edit" button to select a new image for the service.
3. Update Service Name: Click the "Edit" button to edit the name of the service.
   • Note that service display names have a 40-character limit.
4. Display on TV: Toggle to show or hide each service option on Aruvo TV.
5. Actions: Click the "-" or "delete" button to remove a service from the configuration list.
   • Note: Removing a default service from the list will prevent it from displaying in your configuration, but it will not be permanently deleted from the system. You can re-add a default service at any time.
   • Using the "delete" button for a custom-created service will permanently delete it from your configuration.

The "Add/Select Service" button will open the "Add/Select Service" window, where you can select from default services that are hidden from the list as well as create your own custom service offers:

• To add a default service to the list, click the check-box to select any service(s) that you want to add, then click the "Select Service" button to save your settings.
• To create a custom service offer, click the "Add New Service" button.

 

Creating Custom Service Offers

Clicking the "Add New Service" button within the "Add/Select Service" section will open the "Add New Service" window. Start by completing the required fields, then click "Save & Next" to continue.

• Service Name: Enter the display name of the service you would like to offer.
• Service Description: Enter a brief description of the service you would like to offer.
• Service List Image: Click the "Add Service List Image" button to select an image to display. This will open the "Add Or Select Image" window as seen below.

 

From the "Add Or Select Image" window, you can select an existing image file from the "Gallery" or "My Images" sections, or click the "Upload" button to select a new image from your computer. After selecting or uploading the desired image, the window will switch to the "Crop & Save" editor.

• For best results, upload an image with a 16:9 ratio and a recommended size of 1920 x 1080.
• Supported file types include .PNG, .JPG, and .JPEG.

• Use the provided slider to zoom in or out.
• Drag-and-drop the image within the preview to select the displayed area of the image.
• When finished, click the "Save" button to save your settings and return to the "Add New Service" window.

After configuring all required options, click the "Save & Next" button to continue.

 

Fill out the details for the "Options and Values" settings for your new service offer, then click "Save & Next to proceed.

Note: Except for the "Price" setting, the following settings are optional.

• Add One or More Images: You can add an image for each service option.
• Option Name: Enter a name for the selected service option.
• Price: Enter the price that the guest will pay for the selected service option.
  • Note: For options that are available at no cost, enter "0" in this field.
• Add More: Click to add another option to the list, and configure the above settings separately for each option.

 

After configuring settings for each option you would like to offer, click the "Save & Next" button to proceed to the "Buying Options" section. Here, you can complete each required field, then click the "Add Service" button to add your new custom service offer.

• Buying Instructions: Enter the steps that guests should take to purchase the selected service.
• Buying Options: Add the contact details for at least one of the available contact options: Web URL, Phone Number, and/or Email address.
• Info: Toggle on or off to show or hide the selected contact option.
• QR Code: Toggle on or off to show or hide the QR code for the selected contact option.
  • Note: Aruvo can only display one QR code for buying options, so enabling this option for one contact method will disable the QR code option for the other two.
• Special Instructions (optional): Enter any additional details the guest should know about the service offer.

After entering all details, click the "Add Service" button to add your new custom service offer.

Managing Service Content

The "Services Content" section enables you to customize the names, descriptions, pricing, and purchase options for all of your Guest Services offers.

From the main "Services" menu, select the "Services Content" option on the slider.

 

Scroll down to the "Manage Service Content" section. Here, you can click the "View" button to switch the real-time preview to show the selected service offer, or click the "Edit" button to customize settings for the selected service.

 

Clicking the "Edit" button for any service offer will open the "Edit [service name]" window, where you can change any of the settings for the selected offer. Click to move between the "ADD SERVICE DETAILS", "OPTIONS AND VALUES", and/or "BUYING OPTIONS" pages to update the desired settings, then click the "Save" button when finished.

 

Edit Service Details: 

• Service Name: Enter the display name of the service you would like to offer.
• Service Description: Enter a brief description of the service you would like to offer.
• Service List Image: Click the "Add Service List Image" button to select a new image to display. This will open the "Add Or Select Image" window as seen below.

 

From the "Add Or Select Image" window, you can select an existing image file from the "Gallery" or "My Images" sections, or click the "Upload" button to select a new image from your computer. After selecting or uploading the desired image, the window will switch to the "Crop & Save" editor.

• Buying Instructions: Enter the steps that guests should take to purchase the selected service.
• Buying Options: Add the contact details for at least one of the available contact options: Web URL, Phone Number, and/or Email address.
• Info: Toggle on or off to show or hide the selected contact option.
• QR Code: Toggle on or off to show or hide the QR code for the selected contact option.
  • Note: Aruvo can only display one QR code for buying options, so enabling this option for one contact method will disable the QR code option for the other two.
• Special Instructions (optional): Enter any additional details the guest should know about the service offer.

After updating any desired options, click the "Save" button to save your new settings and close the "Edit" window.
