- Collect the details (pricing, description, images, etc) for services that you want to offer to guests in the Aruvo TV display.
⚙️ How to downgrade your Aruvo subscription
The downgrade process allows users to move from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan (for example, Enterprise to Curated or Curated to Basic) while ensuring compliance with plan limits and feature restrictions.
You can click on Billing menu > Subscription and navigate to Manage Subscription to update your plan.
Step 1: Impact display
When you downgrade your subscription, it will let you know impacted items such as PMS Integrations, Stay Syncs, TVs and Branding & Guest Experience that will be changed.
“You are downgrading to Curated. 2 PMS connections will be paused, and 8 TVs will be unlinked.”
Step 2: Validation
After reading all impacted items, when clicked on Confirm Downgrade, this would ask a user for acknowledgment: “I understand that excess TVs and PMS connections will be paused or removed.” to proceed with dthe owngrade.
Step 3: Confirmation and Completion
Once you confirmed downgrade, there will be a message displayed: “Smart choice — your plan has been updated successfully.” This would show the subscription summary, which refreshes instantly. Customer will receive an Email confirmation with the updated plan, next billing date, and retained integrations. Your dashboard displays the new plan name, updated billing frequency, and new unit-based pricing.
Note: After downgrade, you can re-upgrade at any time by selecting a higher plan from the Subscription panel. All paused PMS integrations and branding assets will restore automatically upon upgrade.

Cancellation process would helps customer clearly understand the impact of cancellation on PMS synchronization, TV linking, and overall guest experience. The approach also offers downgrade options to retain limited functionality instead of complete cancellation and ensures secure access to configuration data before cancellation, prevents accidental cancellations through explicit typed confirmation, and maintains dashboard accuracy and integrity after cancellation.
Step 1: Cancellation Warning & Downgrade Suggestion
When you click on Cancel subscription, it will show you a detailed impact summary of what happens after cancellation, such as "All TVs will be detached from PMS and revert to default screens, all logos, themes, and visuals will be deleted. Reservation and stay data syncing stops. And there would be a new setup required if you sign up again. It would show you how to downgrade instead of canceling, along with all plans viewed, so you can compare.
Step 2: Secure File Download
Before proceeding with cancellation, the system requires you to download your TV configuration data file, which is essential if you sign up in the future. This file contains only system PINs (no personal data). And all data gets deleted after download.
Step 3: Final Confirmation
Once you download your TV configuration data file, you'd be moved to final confirmation, where you'd see a warning message alert “This action cannot be reversed.” You would need to type "Cancel " and a check box with confirmation, “I understand this action cannot be reversed.” Once the check box is selected, you'll see a button listed as "Confirm Cancellation" to cancel the subscription. If the check box is not selected system will show the option 'Keep my plan active' to select.
After confirmation, your dashboard will show that your subscription will be canceled on [date]. and Next billing field will display N/A.
