✅ Before You Begin
Ensure you have the following ready to ensure an easy setup:
- Compatible Smart TV or streaming stick with Google TV operating system - See our full list of compatible TV models here.
- Google account - You can use your personal Google account, or create a dedicated account for TV use.
- Wi-Fi network name and password.
- Aruvo account - If you have not set up your account yet, follow the steps in this article to create and configure your account.
- Configure your branding and theme - If you have not completed these steps during initial account setup, follow the steps in this guide to configure your theme and branding.
⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup
1. Setting up your smart TV
Follow the steps to update your Google TV or Google streaming device settings before installing the Aruvo app:

2. Install and configure the Aruvo TV app
After completing the TV configuration, you're ready to install the Aruvo app!
- Click the "Home" button on the remote to return to the TV home page.
- Navigate to the app list, then use the "Search" bar to search for "Aruvo TV Software".
- Click the "Install" button.
- After the app is installed, click "Open" to launch the Aruvo TV app configuration.
- Select the "I agree" and then "Enable" options to proceed.
- The app will open the "Accessibility settings" menu. Scroll to the bottom where you can find the "Aruvo TV Software" option, then select "Enable" and "OK" to confirm.
- Click the "Back" button on the remote to navigate back to the main "Settings" menu.

Click the "Home" button to return to Aruvo TV.
3. Update Aruvo app location in the list (optional but recommended)
By default, newly added apps in Google TV OS will appear at the end of the app list, but we recommend moving it to the beginning to make it easy to launch! Follow these steps to move the app:
- From the "Home" screen, navigate to the "Your Apps" section, and select the Aruvo app.
- Hold the "Select" button on your remote until the menu appears, then select the "Move" option.
- Use the "Left" or "Right" buttons on your remote to move the Aruvo app to the desired location, then press the "Select" button to confirm.
- Select "Done" when you are finished reordering apps.
4. Link your smart TV to your property listing
To finish the setup, just launch the Aruvo app! For the first property that you set up on your Aruvo account, the TV will link automatically.
