⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup
Step1. Open the web portal Aruvo TV
Navigate to Personalized More and Select Live TV.
Important Note:
Please ignore the first step and start from the second step if you are not setting this up for the first time.
(This Step is only applicable if you are doing the setup for the First time during the Onboarding phase.)
Step 2. Navigate to the Wi-Fi Setup Section.
To manage your Wi-Fi settings and connections, you typically follow these steps:
If you are not currently in an onboarding flow and need to adjust your Wi-Fi settings, you can typically navigate to them directly through your device's main settings.
- Click on the TV option on the Left Side Menu tab.
- Then click on Wi-Fi located on the top tab.
- Then click on the Wi-Fi Screen Settings.
- Display Wi-Fi on Smart TV:
Use the widget to enable the display of Wi-Fi on the Smart TV. - Menu Title:
Clicking on the edit Menu Title icon, you can change the title (name) of the Wi-Fi tab if you wish to rename it. Then click on Save.
Step 3. Update Wi-Fi Layout & Content.
- Use the arrow to expand the option, then click on the edit icon.
- Once clicked, a new window will open, allowing you to update the Wi-Fi information according to your preferences, whether you see the Wi-Fi credentials differ across properties or remain the same for all.

Wi-Fi credentials different across properties:
This option allows you to create different credentials across properties for enhanced security and isolated network management, as it uses unique SSIDs and passwords for each location.
If you've selected different credentials for each property, then we’ll auto-generate your Wi-Fi QR code or show Wi-Fi credentials based on your property details.

Wi-Fi credentials remain the same for all the properties:
You can also keep the same SSIDs and passwords for all properties by choosing this option, so the Wi-Fi credentials remain the same for all your properties for the Guest.
Step 4. Create a QR code of the Wi-Fi information for the Guest
- Once the credentials are updated, Aruvo lets you generate a QR code that guests can scan to connect to WiFi without manually entering the credentials.
- To create a QR code, enable the widget and click the Edit icon to customise its icon and background colours.
- Once click on the edit icon, a new window will open where you can customise the instructions for the Guest ( Eg, connect to Wi-Fi via QR). You can adjust the following edit options,
1. Fonts
2. Text Size
3. Text color
4. Background color
5. Tags - You can also update the QR Icon, QR icon color, and QR background color.

Once updated, click on Save to complete the modifications
Important note:
Using the Tags will allow Aruvo Software to fetch the information related to the current guest's details, Property details, and other information uploaded on the Aruvo software for each Property.
Step 5: Steps to Connect Wi-Fi Manually,
- You can update the steps to connect Wi-Fi manually for your guests by clicking the Widget to enable the feature, then clicking on the Edit icon.

Then click on the Edit Icon,
Title Update:
After clicking on the Edit Icon, you can adjust the font size, text colour, and background. You can also update the "Tags" as per your preference, colour to match your branding or aesthetic. to update the Title.

Step 6: Adding Instructions for Wifi Troubleshooting
This option allows you to update some of the instructions for the Guest on how to troubleshoot if the Wi-Fi is not getting connected or it's not working.
- You can update the instructions after enabling the widget.

Once enabled, click on the Edit icon to update the 'Title' instruction and the instruction steps.

Instructions: If you are experiencing issues with your Wi-Fi connection, you can follow these common troubleshooting steps: Check Wi-Fi Status:
Ensure that Wi-Fi is turned on on your device. On Android devices, you can typically find this in Settings > Network & Internet or Connections. Verify that your device is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
Toggle Airplane Mode:
If you are on Windows, check if Airplane Mode is turned off. Toggling it off and on can sometimes reset the wireless adapter. Forget and Reconnect:
Try "forgetting" the Wi-Fi network on your device and then reconnecting to it. This can resolve issues related to corrupted network profiles.
