Ensure you have the following ready to ensure an easy setup:
- Aruvo account - If you have not set up your account yet, follow the steps in this article to create and configure your account.
- Configure your branding and theme - If you have not completed these steps during initial account setup, follow the steps in this guide to configure your theme and branding.
⚙️ Step-by-Step instruction
Steps to turn on Sync Stays
If you need to enable the Sync status for a connected PMS. Follow these steps listed below:
Important Note:
- The PMS Sync Status will be "Disabled" by default when you link a PMS Integration on the Aruvo Portal, Sync status should be enabled so that the stay details can sync to the respective property on the Aruvo Portal.
- You will be able to Import the units from the PMS even if the PMS Sync status is disabled.
- Go to the Integrations page in your Aruvo account.

Locate the PMS Integration for the platform you want to update
- Toggle the Sync Stays switch ON.

A confirmation message will display on the screen stating that,
"All imported units will be considered active for syncing and will be charged, even if a TV is not yet linked".

Once the checkbox is selected, the Confirm & Turn On button becomes active.
- Click on the option to Confirm & Turn On to enable the PMS Sync status.
Steps to turn OFF Sync Stays
In order to stop syncing data from a connected PMS, follow the steps listed below.
After turning Sync Stays OFF, Aruvo will no longer receive future bookings or updates from PMS.
- Go to the Integrations page in your Aruvo account.

Locate the PMS Integration for the platform you want to update.
- Toggle the Sync Stays switch to OFF.
- A confirmation message will display on the screen stating that :
You're about to stop syncing new and upcoming stays from your PMS or booking platforms. - Review the confirmation checkbox: "I understand that syncing will stop and no new or updated stays will appear in Aruvo."
- Once the checkbox is selected, the Confirm & Turn Off button becomes active.
- Click Confirm & Turn Off to finalize the action.
