How to: Link Your Aruvo Account to Hospitable

The Hospitable iCal integration in Aruvo enables hosts to sync reservation calendars from Hospitable using iCal links automatically. This is a one-way sync that keeps your Aruvo calendar up-to-date with Hospitable bookings—no manual entry required.

Follow the steps in this article when:
- You've configured your Aruvo account
- Your Hospitable host account details to access the iCal URL.
- At least one Aruvo unit is ready to be linked, or be prepared to manually add unit details within Aruvo.

Ensure you have the following ready to ensure an easy setup:

⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup
1. Open the web portal to Aruvo TV
If you have not created your Aruvo account yet, follow the steps to get started at How To: Create your Aruvo TV account.
2. Navigate to the "Integrations" tab
Click to select the "Integrations" option from the left-side menu.
3. Select the Hospitable PMS integration
Click the button to select the "Hospitable" option from the list.
Tip: Use the "Search" bar to type the name of your PMS and locate it quickly.
4. Enter integration details
Add your Hospitable account details in the provided fields, then click the "Add iCal Integration" button to connect the integration:
- Integration Name: Enter a display name for your Hospitable integration.
Note that this does not need to match your Hospitable or Aruvo account names. Any display name that helps identify the integration at a glance will be perfect!
5. Click Add iCal Integration
- A confirmation screen will appear: "Your Hospitable integration added, but no units are linked yet."
- You can choose to "Enter Unit Manually" or "Close" and map units later via the Integrations Page.
6. Enter Units and iCal URLs
- You will be prompted to link your Hospitable calendar to a unit in Aruvo. A table with "Unit Nickname" and "iCal URL" columns will appear.

If the unit exists in Aruvo, select it and paste the iCal URL.
Important Note:
- The PMS Sync Status will be "Disabled" by default when you link a PMS Integration on the Aruvo Portal, Sync status should be enabled so that the stay details can sync to the respective property on the Aruvo Portal.

3. If your unit is not listed, click Enter Unit Details Manually to create a new unit.
7. Manually Adding Unit Details (if unit not pre-listed):
Fill in the required fields:
- Property Display Name
- Unit Display Name
- Address: Apt/Suite/Bldg, Zip Code/Postal Code, City, State, Country, Location, Latitude/Longitude (auto-populated), Timezone (auto-filled, editable)
- Stay Timing (Check-In, Check-Out)
- Wi-Fi Network Name, Password, Security Type
- iCal URL
How to Find Your Hospitable iCal URL:
- Log in to your Hospitable account.
- Navigate to "Properties" and select the property that you want to link.
- Navigate to "Export Calendar" and select "Copy iCal link".
- Paste this into the iCal URL field in Aruvo and click "Save" to complete the sync.
- Repeat for each additional unit.
🛠️ Important Details
iCal Sync Details:
- Direction: One-way (Hospitable → Aruvo)
- Data Pulled: Reservation
- Sync Frequency: 30 minutes
- Limitations: No two-way sync, and no guest or messaging data is transferred back to Hospitable.
When you connects to a new PMS, stay syncing will be disabled by default. you must manually enable it to sync stays. Importing units from the PMS is still possible even when stay syncing is disabled. follow the steps mentioned in the article :

🛠️ Troubleshooting Errors When Linking to Hospitable
If the iCal URL is invalid, Aruvo will display: Invalid iCal URL. Please check the link and try again.
Common Issues:
- Missing https:// in the link
- Incorrect calendar link from Hospitable
- Temporary outage on Hospitable servers
🛠️ Manage PMS Integration
Add More Units:
At any time, go to the Hospitable iCal integration page to:
- Add new unit + iCal mappings
- Edit or delete existing ones.
The unit list supports sorting by name (default), by using the "sort" button, or prioritization of units without iCal URLs added. Each unit row allows inline iCal URL addition or editing.
Note: To update a URL, first delete the existing iCal link..
Edit Integration Name:
- Go to the Integrations Page.
- Locate the Hospitable iCal entry.

Click the edit icon next to the name, update it, and click Save.
Note: An integration's display name can be up to 100 characters.
Delete Integration
If needed, you can delete a PMS integration by following the steps below.
Important: Deleting a PMS integration is an irreversible action that results in the permanent loss of data. Aruvo strongly recommends not deleting an integration unless you are certain you no longer need it or its associated data.
- Navigate to the Integrations Page in Aruvo
- Locate the integration to be updated, and click the "Delete" button next to the integration name

The system will pop up a warning message, noting that deleting the integration will stop the sync between Aruvo and Hospitable. Follow the steps to proceed with deletion.
- Click the check-box to acknowledge "I understand that this action cannot be reversed".
- Type the word "Delete" into the provided field.
- Click "Delete Integration" to confirm and delete.
- The system will update with a success message after deletion is completed. Click the "OK" button to acknowledge and close the window.
