How to: Link Your Aruvo Account to Hospitable

✅ Before You Begin
Ensure you have the following ready to ensure an easy setup:
- Aruvo account - If you have not set up your account yet, follow the steps in this article to create and configure your account.
- Configure your branding and theme - If you have not completed these steps during initial account setup, follow the steps in this guide to configure your theme and branding.
⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup
1. Open the web portal to Aruvo TV
If you have not created your Aruvo account yet, follow the steps to get started at How To: Create your Aruvo TV account.
2. Navigate to the "Integrations" tab
Click to select the "Integrations" option from the left-side menu.
3. Select the PMS Hospitable
Click the button to select the "Hospitable" option from the list.
Tip: Use the "Search" bar to type the name of your PMS and locate it quickly.
4. Enter integration details and authorize
Add your PMS Hospitable account details in the provided fields, then click the "Authorize" button to connect the integration:
- Integration Name: Enter a display name for your PMS Hospitable integration.
Note that this does not need to match your Hospitable or Aruvo account names. Any display name that helps identify the integration at a glance will be perfect!
5. Authorize the Aruvo/Hospitable Integration
After clicking "Authorize", you'll be redirected to the Hospitable website to log into your account and authorize the connection.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you manage multiple properties across different Hospitable accounts, make sure you log in with the correct Hospitable account.
Always use an account with super-admin or property owner permissions to ensure that all properties are accessible
After logging into your Hospitable account, you'll be prompted to authorize the integration with Aruvo. Click the "Authorize AruvoTV" button to proceed.
6. Integration Successful
After successful authorization you'd see a message “You did it! Hospitable is now linked.” After confirming the integration was linked successfully, you can import your property listing(s) from Hospitable automatically! Click the "Import Units from PMS" button to proceed with the import, or click the "I'll Do It Later" or "Close" button to skip this step.
6. Import Unit(s) from Hospitable
Click "Import Units from PMS" to proceed with the import, and the system will collect a list of all units that are set up on your Hospitable account.
Important note:
If you wish you can skip importing your units from Hospitable for now, then come back and import them later.
- Click the check-box to select individual units to import, or use the "Select All" check-box to select all units.
- You can use the "Search Unit" button to search for a specific property listing.
- If you don't see a property that was recently added to Hospitable, click the "Re-Sync Units" button to refresh the list.
Important Note:
- The PMS Sync Status will be "Disabled" by default when you link a PMS Integration on the Aruvo Portal, Sync status should be enabled so that the stay details can sync to the respective property on the Aruvo Portal.
- You will be able to Import the units from the PMS even if the PMS Sync status is disabled. How to: Turn PMS Stay Syncing On and Off
When you've selected all of the properties that you want to import, click the "Import Units" button to add them to Aruvo. When the import has completed, Aruvo will display a list of all units that were imported successfully. From here, you can click the "Go To Units Page" button to review the imported properties and edit any details for individual units if desired.
🛠️ Troubleshooting Errors when authorizing Hospitable
Failed authorization Error:
If you failed to authorize your Hospitable account, you will receive an error stating "Oops! Hospitable authorization failed. Please try again.”
Common Reasons for Authorization Failure:
- Invalid or expired Hospitable credentials
- Logged in with a Hospitable account that does not have the required access permissions
- Connectivity issues between Hospitable and Aruvo
How to Fix It:
Click on the "Authorize Again" button to be redirected to the Hospitable secure login page and attempt authorizationon again.
NOTE: If you entered an Integration Name but failed to authorize, the integration is still created in the Aruvo database. This integration will appear on the "Integrations" page with an "Authorize" button, so you can retry authorization later.
🛠️ Manage PMS Integration
Edit Integration Name
Follow the steps below to update the display name of a PMS integration:
- Navigate to the Integrations Page in Aruvo
- Locate the integration to be updated, and click the "Edit" button next to the integration name
- Enter the new display name in the "Integration Name" field, and click the "Save" button when finished.
Note: An integration's display name can be up to 100 characters.
Delete Integration
If needed, you can delete a PMS integration by following the steps below.
Important: Deleting a PMS integration is an irreversible action that results in the permanent loss of data. Aruvo strongly recommends not deleting an integration unless you are certain you no longer need it or its associated data.
- Navigate to the Integrations Page in Aruvo
- Locate the integration to be updated, and click the "Delete" button next to the integration name
- The system will pop up a warning message, noting that deleting the integration will stop the sync between Aruvo and Hospitable. Follow the steps to proceed with deletion.
- Click the check box to acknowledge "I understand that this action cannot be reversed".
- Type the word "Delete" into the provided field.
- Click "Delete Integration" to confirm and delete.
- The system will update with a success message after deletion is completed. Click the "OK" button to acknowledge and close the window.
