Ensure you have the following ready to ensure an easy setup:
- Aruvo account - If you have not set up your account yet, follow the steps in this article to create and configure your account.
- Configure your branding and theme - If you have not completed these steps during initial account setup, follow the steps in this guide to configure your theme and branding.
⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup
1. Open the web portal to Aruvo TV
If you have not created your Aruvo account yet, follow the steps to get started at How To: Create your Aruvo TV account.
2. Navigate to the "Integrations" tab
Click to select the "Integrations" option from the left-side menu.
3. Select the Hostfully PMS integration
The user flow for adding a new Hostfully integration involves two steps:
- Link Hostfully
- Complete the authorization or setup process
Tip: Use the "Search" bar to type the name of your PMS and locate it quickly.
4. Enter integration details
Add your Hostfully account details in the provided fields, then click the "Authorize" button to connect the integration:
- Integration Name: Enter a display name for your Hostfully integration.
Note that this does not need to match your Hostfully or Aruvo account names. Any display name that helps identify the integration at a glance will be perfect!
5. How to Authorize Hostfully
You need to add your Hostfully account details in the provided fields to authorize Hostfully. Authorization is handled through Lynx Automation, ensuring a secure handshake and automatic data sync between Hostfully and Lynx.
- When you click on Authorize, you'll be redirected to the secure Hostfully login page.
- Enter your Hostfully credentials to authorize Hostfully in Aruvo access.
- After successful authorization of Hostfully in Aruvo, it will show the following message. Click on "Allow" to proceed.
6. Integration successful:
After confirming the integration was linked successfully, you can import your property listing(s) from Hostfully automatically! Click the "Import Units from PMS" button to proceed with the import, or click the "Close" button to skip this step.
7. Import units from Hostfully:
Click "Import Units from PMS" to proceed with the import, and the system will collect a list of all units that are set up on your Hostfully account.
- Click the check-box to select individual units to import, or use the "Select All" check-box to select all units.
- You can use the "Search Unit" button to search for a specific property listing.
If you don't see a property that was recently added to Hostfully, click the "Re-Sync Units" button to refresh the list.
Important Note:
- The PMS Sync Status will be "Disabled" by default when you link a PMS Integration on the Aruvo portal. Sync status should be enabled so that the stay details can sync to the respective property on the Aruvo Portal. For the steps to enable sync, see How to: Turn PMS Stay Syncing On and Off.
- You will be able to Import the units from the PMS even if the PMS Sync status is disabled.
When you've selected all of the properties that you want to import, click the "Import Units" button to add them to Aruvo.
🛠️ Important Details
- If you manage multiple properties across different Hostfully accounts, log in with the correct account.
- Use a Hostfully account with super-admin or property owner permissions to ensure all properties are accessible.
- Linking an account with access to only one property will restrict unit import to that property alone.
🛠️ Troubleshooting Errors When authorizing Hostfully
- If Hostfully authorization fails, it will show the message: “Oops! Hostfully authorization failed. Please try again.” You can click on "Authorize Again" to retry, or "Close" to exit without authorization.
- If you entered an integration name but did not complete authorization, the integration will be saved with an "Authorize" button so you can complete this step later.
🛠️ Manage PMS Integration
Update Integration
You can edit and update the integration page in Aruvo by following the steps below:- Navigate to the Integrations Page in Aruvo.
- Locate the integration name that needs to be updated.
- Click the Edit icon next to the integration name.
- Enter the new Integration Name (max 100 characters) and save it.
Changes take effect immediately.
Note: An integration's display name can be up to 100 characters.
Delete Integration
Important: Deleting a PMS integration is an irreversible action and will result in permanent loss of data.

We can follow the steps below to delete the integration
- Locate the integration name that needs to be deleted.
- Click the Delete icon next to the integration name.

The system will pop up a warning message, noting that deleting the integration will stop the sync between Aruvo and Hostfully. Follow the steps to proceed with deletion.
- Click the check box to acknowledge "I understand that this action cannot be reversed".
- Type the word "Delete" into the provided field.
- Click "Delete Integration" to confirm and delete.
- The system will update with a success message after deletion is completed. Click the "OK" button to acknowledge and close the window.
Data Deletion
- Once confirmed, Aruvo will permanently remove:
- The Hostfully integration and all synced data.
- All units were imported from that PMS.
- All Smart TVs are linked to those units.
Only delete if you are certain the integration and its data are no longer needed.
