⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup
Open the web portal to Aruvo TV
If you have not created your Aruvo account yet, follow the steps to get started at How To: Create your Aruvo TV account.
Step 1: Provide Integration Name
- Navigate to the PMS Integration Tab in Aruvo.

Search for "Direct" in the PMS list.

Click the "Direct" tile.

Enter an Integration Name for display purposes.
- Label: Integration Name
- Suggested Limit: 100 characters

Allowed Characters: Letters, numbers, spaces, hyphen (-), and underscore (_). Special characters are not allowed.
Step 2: Enter Integration Token (Organization ID)
- Enter the Organization ID from Direct.

Where to get the Direct token:
- Log in to your Direct dashboard.
- Go to the Integration or Settings option.
- Search for “Aruvo”.
- You can find the Organization ID there.

Intermediate Confirmation Screen (Post-Linking)
After successfully linking the PMS account (Direct), a confirmation screen will appear:
- Confirmation Purpose: Validates the PMS connection with Aruvo and confirms token authenticity.
- PMS Confirmation Text: Shows the Direct icon and name.
- Success Message: “You did it! Direct account is now linked.” (Marked as completed with a tick icon).
- Prompt Text: “Would you like to pull your units from Direct now?”
Important Note:
- The PMS Sync Status will be "Disabled" by default when you link a PMS Integration on the Aruvo portal. Sync status should be enabled so that the stay details can sync to the respective property on the Aruvo Portal. For the steps to enable sync, see How to: Turn PMS Stay Syncing On and Off.
- You will be able to Import the units from the PMS even if the PMS Sync status is disabled.
Host Choices:
- Import Units from PMS: Proceeds to the Unit Import page and triggers the backend to fetch units and reservations.
- Close: Skips the unit import for now. PMS credentials are saved, and the user is redirected to the dashboard.

Integration Account ID and Token Validation:
- Invalid Format: An error message will prompt the user to re-check the Organization ID.
- Validation: The host must enter a valid Direct Organization ID.
Buttons & Behaviors:
- Link PMS: Remains disabled until a valid Organization ID is entered. On click, it sends the Organization ID to the backend for validation. If successful, it moves to Step 2: Import Units.
- Cancel: Cancels the process and returns the user to the PMS selection screen.
Step Progress Indicator:
- Step 1: LINK PMS: Marked as completed with a tick icon once the PMS is successfully connected.

Step 2: IMPORT UNIT(S): Shown as the upcoming step, available once the PMS is successfully connected.
Special Note: Validate your Organization ID within your Direct account and retry the linking process.
⚙️Manage Direct PMS Integration
Edit Integration Name:
If you need to update the Integration Name:
- Navigate to the Integrations Page in Aruvo.
- Locate the integration name you wish to update.
- Click the Edit icon next to the integration name.
- Enter the new Integration Name (maximum 100 characters) and save it.
The changes will take effect immediately, and the updated name will appear on the screen.
Delete Integration:
Important Note: Deleting a PMS integration is an irreversible action that results in the permanent loss of data.
To prevent accidental deletion, Aruvo follows a two-step process:
Delete Integration:
- Navigate to the Integrations Page in Aruvo.
- Locate the integration name you wish to delete.
- Click the Delete icon next to the integration name.
Deletion Confirmation:
- When you click the Delete button, a warning message will appear.
- This message will clearly state that deleting the integration will also delete all associated units and linked TVs from your Aruvo account.
- You must type a confirmation word (e.g., "Delete") to proceed. The word "Delete" is case-sensitive.
Data Deletion: Upon confirmation, Aruvo will permanently remove the following from your account:
- The PMS integration and all its synced data.
- All units that were imported from that PMS.
- All Smart TVs that were linked to those units.
It is strongly recommended to delete an integration only if you are certain you no longer need it or its associated data, as this action cannot be undone.
