How To: Configure "Contact Us" Screen

This article provides an overview of The Contact Us Screen Settings feature which allows property owner to configure and display Contact Us details on Smart TVs installed in rental units. This improves the guest experience by providing quick, branded, and easy-to-access contact information — complete with configurable images, layout types, and QR codes for fast connection.

- Collect the details (pricing, description, images, etc) for services that you want to offer to guests in the Aruvo TV display.
⚙️ Guides for configuring the Contact Us Menu on Smart TVs
Enable or Disable Contact Us Menu:
You can click to Menu TV and navigate to Contact us
You can use the toggle to show or hide the Contact Us menu on the Smart TV interface. You’ll see following behavior:
- When OFF – The Contact Us menu is hidden from the TV, the Live Preview, and the menu order.

When ON– The Contact Us menu is visible to guests on Smart TV.
Note: Turning the menu OFF does not delete any configured content (images, titles, QR data). Settings are preserved and restored when re-enabled.
Change Layout
This section would guide you to select the layout that controls image, text, and QR code placement. There are 3 Layout available listed as below:
- Layout 1 — It has image on Top, QR codes (Phone, Email, Website) on Left, Title and Text below image.
- Layout 2 — It has Image on Left, QR codes at Bottom, Title and Text to the Right of image.
- Layout 3 — It has Image on Right, QR codes at Bottom, Title and Text to the Left of image.
Once you select the Layout and you can preview and apply that.
- On selecting a layout, the Live Preview appears on the right side of the screen.
- The selected layout thumbnail is highlighted.
- To apply the layout, click “Select Layout”. Selected layout persists per property and syncs to linked Smart TVs.
- Switching layouts does not delete any existing title, image, or QR configurations.
Change Image
There is a placeholder image which display by default. However customer can upload a custom image from their local drive in these format PNG, JPEG, JPG
With Maximum Size of 5 MB. Please ensure you upload a 16:9 ratio image for the best display on Smart TVs. Uploaded images gets updated in real-time in the Live Preview and scale to fit the chosen layout.
Change Title
The title shown in the layout can be customized or hidden with a toggle. Hidden titles remain saved but are not shown on the TV. You can click the edit icon next to the title to customize the following properties: Font Family, size, text Color, Background Color, Text Tags. Title cannot be blank(If not hidden) and you can keep the title maximum of 60 characters. All title edits appear instantly in the Live Preview.
Text for the Layout
This section will guide you to edit/update text for the layout. You can use formatting tools and tags (bold, italic, lists, hyperlinks where applicable). You can set Font Family, Font Size, and Text Color across platforms. Google TV & Fire TV have rich Text supported however Roku & Apple TV have plain Text supported such as basic text editing with Font Family, Font Size, Text Color, and basic tags. Live Preview will reflects platform-specific rendering in real-time (rich formatting for Google/Fire; plain rendering for Roku/Apple).
Card Background
You can customize the "Contact Us" card background via color palette or HEX code input. Background color updates are reflected immediately in Live preview section.
QR Code Configuration details and Validation rules
This section supports three QR Code entities (QR Code 1, QR Code 2, QR Code 3). Each entity is configurable and can be individually shown or hidden. If you hide a specific QR code, it would remove from the layout preview and Smart TV but will remain stored in settings. You can see update in Live Preview instantly. You can configure a QR Code as listed below:
- QR Code Type: You can select one- Email, Phone, Location, Link.
- Icon: You can click Edit Icon (e.g., “Update Icon here”) to choose an icon from the gallery.
- Icon Color: You can update icon color that is changeable via color palette or HEX input.
- Card Background Color: You can set this per QR card using the palette or HEX input.
- Title: You can editable QR code title (e.g., “Call Us”, “Email Support”) with styling options: Font Family,Size and Text Color.
- Value: You can setup The QR payload value eg -phone number, email address, URL, or location).

QR Scannability: This filed will guide you with QR code size. QR codes must render at a scannable size in preview (recommended minimum 150 × 150 px in the TV UI).
Validation Rules for QR Values
- Empty value → “QR code value cannot be empty.”
- Invalid email → “Please enter a valid email address.”
- Invalid phone → “Please enter a valid phone number.”
- Invalid URL → “Please enter a valid URL.”
Live Preview Panel
Live preview panel is displayed on the right side of the Contact Us settings screen whatever you make changes in Contact us menu eg layout selection, image upload, title edit, text formatting, card background changes, QR code edits, it will reflect instantly (real-time preview).
When the Contact Us menu is disabled, the Contact Us preview is hidden. The preview panel shows how the app looks on different platforms—rich rendering on Google TV and Fire TV, and plain rendering on Roku and Apple TV.
