How To: Link Your Aruvo Account to ThinkReservations

- You need to connect a ThinkReservations account with Aruvo.
✅ Before You Begin
Ensure you have the following ready to ensure an easy setup:

Aruvo account - If you have not set up your account yet, follow the steps in this article to create and configure your account.
- Configure your branding and theme - If you have not completed these steps during initial account setup, follow the steps in this guide to configure your theme and branding.
⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup
1. Open the web portal to Aruvo TV
If you have not created your Aruvo account yet, follow the steps to get started at How To: Create your Aruvo TV account.
2. Add Unit Listings to Aruvo
Follow the steps to add each unit/room listing to Aruvo. See How to: Add Units Manually here.
Important: ThinkReservations DOES NOT automatically import units to Aruvo! Be sure to complete this step before proceeding, otherwise you will need to delete and re-add the integration before you can map rooms in the ThinkReservations portal.
3. Navigate to the "Integrations" tab
Click to select the "Integrations" option from the left-side menu.
4. Select the ThinkReservations integration
Click the button to select the "ThinkReservations" option from the list.
Tip: Use the "Search" bar to type the name of your PMS and locate it quickly.
5. Enter integration details and generate Token
Add your ThinkReservations account details in the provided fields, then generate token.
- Integration Name: Enter a display name for your ThinkReservations integration.
Note that this does not need to match your ThinkReservations or Aruvo account names. Any display name that helps identify the integration at a glance will be perfect!
- Integration Token: After entering the integration Name click on Generate token Aruvo will generate a Token Key and Secret Key.
Copy Token Key and Secret Key securely; you will use them in ThinkReservations during authentication.
6. Access the Marketplace

Log into the ThinkReservations PMS portal, then navigate to: Settings → Marketplace

Search for AruvoTV in the Marketplace list.
- Click Learn More to view details about the integration.
7. Add the Application & Connect Your Account

On the AruvoTV app listing page, click Add Application (top-left corner):

You’ll be redirected to the AruvoTV Settings page. Enter the Token Key and Token Secret that were generated in Aruvo (Step 5), then click "Connect" to authenticate and enable the integration.

Once authenticated, you’ll see a confirmation message. You will automatically be redirected to the Room Mapping screen on Aruvo.
Important: IMPORTANT: ThinkReservations will NOT automatically import units to Aruvo! Follow the steps at How to: Add Units Manually to add your units to Aruvo before mapping them in ThinkReservations.
8. Map Your Rooms
After connecting the ThinkReservations account successfully, you’ll be directed to the AruvoTV Room Mapping page. You can use this page to set up units from ThinkReservations to the corresponding Units in Aruvo.
After mapping rooms, Aruvo displays a success screen confirming the integration setup: “Your ThinkReservations integration is now complete! Rooms have been mapped successfully, and reservations will sync automatically.”
🛠️ Troubleshooting Errors When Linking to ThinkReservations
If token validation fails during Step 6, you can:

Retry Authorization on ThinkReservations PMS: You can reopen the token entry page to retry connection.
- Cancel on Aruvo: You can exit entire setup at any time. The integration would remain listed under Integrations page in Aruvo, so you can retry authorization later.
Common Failure Reasons:

Invalid Token Key or Secret Key entered on ThinkReservations.

Network issue between ThinkReservations and Aruvo.
- Token permissions not correctly configured in Aruvo.
🛠️ Manage PMS Integration
Edit Integration Name
Follow the steps below to update the display name of a PMS integration:
- Navigate to the Integrations Page in Aruvo
- Locate the integration to be updated, and click the "Edit" button next to the integration name
- Enter the new display name in the "Integration Name" field, and click the "Save" button when finished.
Note: An integration's display name can be up to 100 characters.
Delete Integration
If needed, you can delete a PMS integration by following the steps below.
Important: Deleting a PMS integration is an irreversible action that results in the permanent loss of data. Aruvo strongly recommends not deleting an integration unless you are certain you no longer need it or its associated data.
- Navigate to the Integrations Page in Aruvo
- Locate the integration to be updated, and click the "Delete" button next to the integration name

The system will pop up a warning message, noting that deleting the integration will stop the sync between Aruvo and ThinkReservations. Follow the steps to proceed with deletion.
- Click the check-box to acknowledge "I understand that this action cannot be reversed".
- Type the word "Delete" into the provided field.
- Click "Delete Integration" to confirm and delete.
- The system will update with a success message after deletion is completed. Click the "OK" button to acknowledge and close the window.
