β Before You Begin
- Make sure you have an account created for the Aruvo TV. How To: Create your Aruvo TV account.
- Please make sure you have linked your Property Management System (PMS) account to your Aruvo account. How To: Link Your PMS to Aruvo
- Ensure you have linked a TV with the Aruvo app to a property set up in an Aruvo account. How to: Link Aruvo TV to a property.
- Ensure you have access to the Aruvo Dashboard. If you are a new user, a "Demo Unit" is automatically created upon sign-up, allowing you to explore the platform's features without immediately inputting real data.
βοΈ Understanding the Aruvo Units Page
Accessing the Aruvo Dashboard:
- Log in to the Aruvo Dashboard via the provided URL. Aruvo TV
- The "Units Page" will be your main control panel, displaying all your units in a card-based layout.
Unit Information Sources and Navigating the Units Page
- Card-Based Layout: Each unit is displayed in a card, organized into three columns:
- Unit Details: Shows unit name, nickname, full address, and status indicators for Smart TV Linking, PMS Stay Sync, and Wi-Fi Info.
- Smart TV Details: Displays linked Smart TVs, linking status, and troubleshooting options.
- Stay Information: Shows current/upcoming stays, source, and sync status.
- Sorting & Pagination: Units are sorted alphabetically (AβZ) by default. Pagination controls are visible and allow navigation to the first or last page.
- Search Units Bar: Use the search bar to locate a unit by property nickname or address quickly.
- Add New Unit Manually: Click this option to create a new rental unit by entering details such as unit name, address, optional Wi-Fi information, and default Smart TV settings. You can refer to the article: How to: Add units Manually
- Unit Import/Sync from Integrated PMS: Units and their configured information are synced and displayed when Aruvo is interfaced with a Property Management System (PMS). You can take a look at the article to learn more. How To: Link Your PMS to Aruvo
- Unit Edit and Deletion Restriction: Units cannot be edited or deleted directly from the listing view. This functionality is available only from the Unit Details Page.
Exploring the Unit Details Section:
- Purpose: This section provides a snapshot of the unit's essential configuration.
- Property Name and Address: Prominently displayed with the full address.

Smart TV Linked Status:
β Linked (Green Check): Smart TV is connected.
β No Smart TV Linked (Red "X"): TV is not linked. A "Fix button" is provided for configuration instructions. By default, one Smart TV is auto-created when a unit is imported from a PMS.
- Stay Sync Status:
β Synced (Green Check): PMS is connected and stay sync is ON. β Not Synced (Red "X"): PMS is not connected, or sync is OFF.
- Wi-Fi Info Status:
β Linked (Green Check): Wi-Fi credentials are stored and visible on the Smart TV.
β Not Linked (Red "X"): Wi-Fi details are missing.
- View Unit Details Button: Click to navigate to the Unit Details Page, where you can view and edit Property Details, Smart TV Management, Information Fields, and Stays.
π οΈ Managing Smart TV Details:
Purpose: Manages the connection and behavior of Smart TVs linked to each unit.
Smart TV Status: Displays "Smart TV Not Linked" with a red error icon if not linked, along with TV Location and Linking Code if linked.
Add Smart TV Button: Allows manual addition/linking of new TVs to the unit. Multiple Smart TVs can be linked to one unit.
Fix or Setup TV Button: Helps users link or configure unlinked TVs.
View Smart TV Details: Provides access to Smart TV App Installation steps, TV linking status, Smart TV Add or Edit options, and linking code visibility.
Smart TV Behavior Rules:
- Each Smart TV can only be linked to one unit at a time.
- The linking code persists through reinstallation of the Smart TV app.
- Re-linking is required if the app cache is cleared.
- Missing Roku Screensaver pings indicate a "Critical Error."
Smart TV Deletion Rules:
- The last Smart TV linked to a unit cannot be deleted.
- Deletion is only allowed from the Smart TV tab within the Unit Details Page.

π οΈ Understanding Stay Details:
Purpose: Displays stay/reservation data for each unit, from PMS or manual entry.
Stay Information Display: Shows Guest Name, Contact Number, Email Address, Check-In & Check-Out Dates, PMS Source Icon, and Confirmation Code.
Current Stay Highlight: The current stay is highlighted in Sea Green. Only one active stay is shown at a time. Use the "Next Stay" button to view upcoming reservations.
Re-Sync Stays: Fetches stay data from the integrated PMS. Sync happens automatically, but can be triggered manually.
Note: After clicking the "Re-Sync Stays" button, it will be disabled for 5 minutes while the sync is completed.
Stay Button: Create manual reservations for special bookings or when PMS integration is not used.
Edit & Delete Icon: Modify or remove stays (manual or PMS-imported). The Confirmation Code is editable only for manual stays.
Stay Sync & Deletion: PMS-synced stays are updated automatically. If a stay is deleted in the PMS, it is also removed during sync.
